Organization Expands with Sistersville Pharmacy
You may have noticed some new faces at HPS Pharmacy over the past several months. As many of you may already be aware, HPS Pharmacy has been in the process of changing ownership. And the new pharmacy owners have been working with your pharmacist, Jennifer Hayes, and the Hayes family to ensure a smooth transition in pharmacy services.
Effective November 1st, HPS Pharmacy will change its name to “Sistersville Pharmacy” and will change ownership to Jason and Tiffany Turner – who also own and operate Moundsville Pharmacy. Many of you may see the commercials for Moundsville Pharmacy and be familiar with the services we offer.
Over the coming months, Sistersville Pharmacy will undergo some changes in appearance, will implement new services, and will continue the same high-level of friendly customer service!!!
Here are just a few of the plans we have for Sistersville Pharmacy. Let us know what you think and if you have any additional suggestions of how we could better our services to our patients.
Pharmacy Staff
Technicians Sharon and Kim will continue to provide friendly, reliable customer service. They are your insurance billing experts and will continue to greet you with good conversation and a smile.
Pharmacist Brian Holmes, a local native from Friendly, West Virginia, will serve as the pharmacist-in-charge and be the primary pharmacist for Sistersville Pharmacy. Brian is a graduate of the University of Charleston and should be a familiar face to long-time HPS pharmacy patients. Pharmacist Freeman Wickham will also continue to be a part of the Sistersville Pharmacy team.
Pharmacy Design
Over the coming months, you will see new signs, new colors on the outside of the pharmacy, and new spaces on the inside of the pharmacy. In addition, we hope to resurface the parking lot before winter arrives so that patients have a safe and convenient area for parking.
Pharmacy Services
Durable Medical Equipment – Sistersville Pharmacy will offer more durable medical equipment including canes, crutches, braces, supports, bathroom aids, compression hose, and much, more… Moundsville Pharmacy is a Medicare-Accredited DME provider and we plan to bring the same level of service to Sistersville Pharmacy.
Immunizations – Sistersville Pharmacy will be your Immunization Headquarters. We will be offering flu and pneumonia vaccines, the shingles vaccine, and additional vaccines for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, tetanus, and pertussis. If you’re not sure which vaccines are indicated for you, visit Sistersville Pharmacy for your vaccine consultation and to see what your insurance covers.
SyncRx+ Program – In 2013, Moundsville Pharmacy developed a synchronization and medication review program that is now being taught to pharmacies across the country. Sistersville Pharmacy is excited to introduce this FREE program to your community!
SyncRx+ is better than any other refill program available to you – ensuring that you always have the medications you need and that they are the best medications for you!!! SyncRx+ is designed to synchronize your prescriptions to one monthly visit to the pharmacy. Each month a pharmacist will call you to review your medications so that we only fill what you need. And for your convenience, we offer delivery or mailing of these prescriptions at no charge.
Prescription Delivery – Sistersville Pharmacy will continue to offer delivery service to Middlebourne Senior Center and may expand delivery throughout the community to ensure every patient is able to get their medications when they need them.
Medicare Part D and Medication Therapy Management Services – Sistersville Pharmacy will offer review of Medicare Part D plans by appointment to help patients review their insurance options each year. In addition, pharmacists are contracted with most insurances to provide Medication Therapy Management services.
Sistersville Pharmacy will provide pharmacy services to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of your community now and for many years to come. We appreciate the long-time patients who have witnessed and supported the pharmacies growth, improvements, and at this time, transition.
